I've seen it myself many times, people walking past me out of a real estate agents with their heads hanging low, because they Failed to Qualify for a bank loan to purchase a house. The surprising "secret" that banks don't want you to know— and how to stop it damaging your credit rating... Now this is the interesting part... Even if you have a perfect credit record but may be not on the highest of tax brackets... here is a super tip. Every time you apply for a loan or credit of any kind (even if you are accepted) a mark from that lender is now on your credit history... Well if you have been "knocked back" and then apply at a few more banks to see if they will lend you the funds you so desperately need.... they will also be putting checks on your record. This will hurt your credit rating even thought you have not done anything wrong! ... this is how you can fix this. When you deal with a lender for any type of finance, ALW AYS, Always, Always .... Did I mention... ALWAYS? "make the application conditional on a recent credit check if (and only if) you decide to proceed with that lender" How this will help you... Well, you will get some lenders that will not accept this, just tell them it is their loss (politely of course). Let them know you do not wish to have your credit rating effected and ask if they would accept a recent copy of yours. There are literally hundreds of lenders that "WANT YOUR BUSINESS". Now if you still cannot qualify for the loan then this is where I come in to assist .I will look at your application and assess if I think you can support the monthly payments and still be able to live a life too! There is no point getting into a Rent 2 own- Leae Option agreeement and then you have to scavenge in the local food store bins for your meals! I am serious, I have really seen down and out people do this with their legs up in the air in the dumpster rummaging! ( I just could not persuade them to allow me to post thier photos here :o)... I will not put any person in a situation like this as I believe in human rights and fair play! How to "clean up " your credit rating... to give you a better shot next time round... To increase your chances of qualifying for a loan you should consider tidying up your credit history and you have the right to do this and can apply for a small fee and the company will send out a copy for you, once you have this: I suggest you go through your credit report and if there are any errors, you need to call the lender that is listed on the error and sort it out.
